She's Peggy Muncy. She has toured foreign countries and 25 states, but this mother of three has never attempted anything like this. On Mother's Day, she will leave Los Angeles and bike cross country. It's a 3,415 mile trip. She will average 80 to 100 miles per day for 52 days.

To help her in her resolve, she's taking donations from family and friends -- money for every mile she travels. All the proceeds go to the Central Arkansas Boys and Girls Clubs. She has always been a big supporter and working on the kids' behalf will keep her inspired. She leaves Mother's Day and 52 days later will cross the city limits of Boston. It should be a big personal moment and one for the Boys and Girls Clubs.
